Fleet Fuel Management Q&A
Q. What makes the ARCO Business
Solutions Universal Fuel MasterCard® product distinctive
from other fleet products on the market?
A. The ARCO Business Solutions Universal Fuel MasterCard can be
used to buy fuel and maintenance anywhere MasterCard cards are
accepted. Add that to purchasing controls for each card,
increased security and fraud control, a variety of comprehensive
reports and real-time account tracking – and fleet managers
have exactly what they need in a fleet card product.
Q. Why is ARCO gasoline usually
less expensive than other brands?
A. For many years, ARCO has had a unique business approach. Among
other major gasoline brands we're known as a
"high-volume, low-cost retailer." More simply stated,
the more efficient the company is, the more our customers save.
And since we sell nearly twice as much gas at the average ARCO
station as the industry average, our customers usually save 5 to
10 cents per gallon on the average compared to other major
brands.*
Q. What is the difference between
the ARCO Business Solutions Universal Fuel MasterCard® and
the ARCO Business Solutions Fuel Card?
A. The ARCO Business Solutions Fuel Card can only be used at
participating ARCO and BP locations, does not have a monthly
membership fee, offers card management features, online account
access and simple reporting.
Q. Are there any fees associated
with the two cards?
A. The ARCO Business Solutions Fuel Card does not have a
membership fee. However, a per card fee may apply. The ARCO
Business Solutions Universal Fuel MasterCard costs just $10/month
for its extensive features. Customers purchasing 5,000 or more
gallons of fuel per month qualify for this fee to be waived. A
paper statement fee may apply on both cards for accounts
requesting a paper statement. All accounts are eligible to
receive statements online for no charge.
Q. Can I access my account
online?
A. Of course! In fact, we encourage
that our customers use our enhanced website at
arcobusinesssolutions.com to access and monitor their account,
manage their card features, control the security of their cards,
and make payments. In addition, customers can access the many
reports that are available.
